Supporting Students Beyond the Classroom

At Partners In Education, our mission is rooted in one simple belief: when students have what they need, they can focus on learning, growing, and thriving. For many children in our community, that support goes beyond the classroom and into meeting basic, everyday needs.

That’s why PIE proudly works alongside the Douglas County School System to help support students who need clothing and other essentials. Clean, well-fitting clothes may seem small, but for a child, they can mean confidence, comfort, and the ability to fully participate in the school day without distraction.
PIE provides schools with a clear and supportive way to request help. When teachers, counselors, or administrators identify a specific need for a student, they can contact PIE directly. From there, we respond by donating funds to the school or purchasing the needed items ourselves, ensuring support is provided quickly, thoughtfully, and discreetly.
This process allows schools to focus on educating and caring for students while PIE helps bridge gaps where resources may be limited. Every request represents a real child and a real opportunity to make a difference in their daily life.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, partners, and community supporters, PIE is able to turn compassion into action. Together with the Douglas County School System, we are helping remove barriers to learning and creating a stronger, more supportive environment for every student we serve.
When we meet students’ needs in meaningful ways, we strengthen families, schools, and our entire community.
