Papa Johns Donates $750 in Coupons to Support Douglas County Students and Families

Partners in Education is grateful to recognize one of our valued corporate partners, Papa Johns, for another generous contribution to students and families within the Douglas County School System.

Papa Johns recently donated $750 worth of coupons to the Douglas County School System's Homeless Division. The coupons were distributed to families experiencing food insecurity, providing access to meals and a little extra support during times of need.

The donation was provided through Jill Smith, Homeless Outreach Facilitator for the Douglas County School System, who works to connect students and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability with resources and assistance. Jill expressed her appreciation for the donation and Papa Johns' continued commitment to supporting Douglas County families.

A Partnership That Continues to Give Back

For Partners in Education, this donation is another example of why strong community partnerships matter.

Businesses and organizations throughout Douglas County have resources and opportunities that can make a meaningful difference for local students and their families. PIE helps build those connections, allowing our community partners to respond to real needs throughout the school system.

Papa Johns continues to be one of PIE's strongest corporate partners, finding new ways to support our mission and give back to the community.

Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, that partnership was also demonstrated through the PIE4PIE fundraising program. Anytime the PIE4PIE promo code was used, Papa Johns donated 20% of sales back to Partners in Education. Those funds helped PIE purchase thousands of dollars in food for students and families in need during the summer.

Now, this additional $750 coupon donation is helping provide meals directly to families experiencing food insecurity.

Partnerships Making a Difference

Sometimes making an impact starts by identifying a simple need and finding a community partner willing to help meet it. For a family facing food insecurity, knowing that a meal is taken care of can make a meaningful difference.

We are incredibly thankful to Papa Johns for continuing to recognize the needs within our community and finding ways to help.

Partnerships like this demonstrate what can happen when businesses, schools, and community organizations work together with a shared commitment to supporting students and families.

Thank you, Papa Johns, for continuing to be a Partner in Education and for investing in the students and families of Douglas County.
