Who we are
The Partners in Education of Douglas County, Inc. (PIE) program has been serving students, staff, and the community of Douglas County, Georgia for over two decades. The program is designed to provide a hands-on opportunity for local businesses and organizations to share their expertise, time, resources, and ideas to enrich the academic experience for students in the community.

All PIE relationships are individually designed to have a positive impact on student achievement and to promote college and career readiness. Any business or organization is invited to participate in the PIE program. There are no dues or fees to become an active partner in education. The only thing needed is an interest in student achievement and the willingness to become involved in the program. Opportunities to participate in PIE are virtually unlimited.

The Sunshine Fund
The Sunshine Fund was established through PIE to full unmet needs in the classroom and for individual students and their families. This can include anything from glasses and shoes to testing fees and graduation caps.
Tour of Schools
Each quarter PIE partners are invited to take a tour of one of Douglas County School System schools.
PIE and Coffee
Held at different locations around Douglas County, PIE and Coffee gives partners and school administrators the opportunity to get together in a social environment.
