Community Support in Action: PIE Summer Nutrition Distribution Makes an Impact

Throughout the 25/26 school year, Partners in Education partnered with Papa Johns to help support local students and families through a simple but meaningful giveback initiative.

Every time supporters used the promo code PIE4PIE when ordering from Papa Johns, 20% of sales were donated back to PIE to help support students within the Douglas County School System.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and everyone who participated throughout the year, PIE was able to turn those donations into meaningful support for local families through our Summer Nutrition Distribution efforts.

Making a Difference for Local Students and Families

Through this initiative:

• $3,250 in food was purchased

• More than 23 schools were reached

• Over 1,968 individuals were impacted

These donations provided essential, everyday food items to students and families across Douglas County, helping ensure children have the nourishment they need to continue thriving beyond the school year.

At PIE, we know that supporting students means caring for the whole child, and access to food and nutrition plays an important role in student success and well-being.

A Community Effort

This initiative would not have been possible without the support of our community partners, families, and everyone who chose to give back simply by ordering a meal.
