Education in Action: PIE’s Tour of Schools Visits New Manchester High School

Partners in Education (PIE) is proud to continue the Douglas County School System’s Tour of Schools with an upcoming visit to New Manchester High School on Tuesday, January 13 at 9:00 a.m. This event invites community and business partners to step inside the classroom and experience firsthand the innovative learning environments shaping the future of education in Douglas County.

The Tour of Schools offers more than a walk-through—it provides an inside look at how teachers, administrators, and students work collaboratively to create engaging, future-focused learning experiences. At New Manchester High School, visitors will see how traditional teaching methods are seamlessly blended with technology, creativity, and real-world application to prepare students for success beyond graduation.

This initiative also highlights the strength of the partnership between the Douglas County School System and more than 200 local businesses and organizations that support education throughout the community. Through programs, resources, and ongoing collaboration, these partners play a vital role in empowering students, supporting educators, and strengthening public education across Douglas County.
