The Douglas County Chamber of Commerce collaborated with Gilbane Building Company for a contractor information session on April 23, 2024, focusing on the Douglas County School System's Chapel Hill High School Academic Village Addition project. This session provided a comprehensive overview of the project, which is integral to the advancement and improvement of Chapel Hill High School. The enhancements outlined included adding a classroom building, an NJROTC facility, renovations to the main school entry, and installing a bus drop-off canopy. Partners in Education of Douglas County's Board Member, Wanda Vick, attended the event and enjoyed networking with PIE partner Tonya Byrd, Business Development Manager, Gilbane Building Company.
